Explore Boston and Eat Delicious Food! (and optional beer tasting)
Ever want to explore an Italianate Victorian mansion? Ready to uncover a new side of Boston?
Then don’t miss this exciting tour of Jamaica Plain (or “JP” to the locals)! It’s a well-known fact that JP has some of the tastiest and freshest food in Boston, but is off the beaten path from popular tourist destinations such as nearby Fenway Park. In fact, some JP residents want to keep it that way, and this tight-knit community is definitely keen on preserving the neighborly feel.
Originally part of Roxbury, Jamaica Plain was first home to wealthy and middle class residents who wanted to summer or live outside of the city where they worked. As the decades passed, JP became known for the birthplace of America’s first craft beer, Sam Adams, which is still brewed here today.
On this exciting tour, our local guides will share the most delicious food on Centre Street while sharing tidbits about JP’s history, including its connection to Moxie and famous local residents.
This tour is authentic with a capital “A”!
