Licensing Board – Annual Renewal for Restaurants & Package Stores Relief Fund

The deadline for submitting a completed annual renewal for Section 12 and Section 15 licenses (restaurants and package stores) is Monday, November 30th at the end of business. You are strongly encouraged to complete the renewal via the online application. You may access the relevant online application here: Alcoholic Beverages or Package Store.
You should pay online here. There is no fee to pay by check online. There is a 2.75% fee to pay with a credit or debit card.
If you have not received your annual renewal package please email renewalcohol2021@boston.gov and it will be provided to you.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE ANNUAL RENEWAL APPLICATION PROCESS WILL RESULT IN THE LICENSE LAPSING ON DECEMBER 31ST AT 11:59PM. IF YOU FAIL TO RENEW YOU MUST REAPPLY FOR A LICENSE, ATTEND A HEARING AND OBTAIN THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD, AND OBTAIN THE APPROVAL OF THE ABCC. IF YOU FAIL TO RENEW YOUR LICENSE THERE IS NO GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A NEW LICENSE.
The Board legally cannot grant an extension to the renewal deadline. YOU MUST RENEW THE LICENSE BY MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH AT END OF BUSINESS.
