Northeastern Breakfast Club Neighborhood Clean-Up & Celebration
April 6, 2019 10:00 AM
Join fellow residents and neighbors and Northeastern student volunteers for our annual clean-up event in Mission Hill and Fenway! You’ll be able to volunteer alongside student volunteers to beautify areas that have been designated by local community organizations. The clean-ups will include spring activities such as raking, weeding, mulching, painting, etc.
Please join the effort in this end-of-year event! Sign-up here and we will contact you will more details about the day.
The clean-up will be for two hours, then from 12-1/1:30 we will be hosting a celebration at the Puddingstone Tavern with food and some honorary thank-you prizes for some well-deserving residents and students. Please come after volunteering to eat, mingle and get to know fellow neighbors!
Partners: Mission Hill Community Garden, Fenway Victory Gardens, and Fenway Civic Association
The Breakfast Club is a clean-up program lead by Northeastern students on 16 Sundays during the academic year, picking up trash along the streets of Mission Hill and Fenway neighborhoods. So far this year: 329 students have volunteered and collected 57 bags of trash!
