Reimagine Main Streets, Session 7: Fields Corner
February 25, 2021 5:30 PM
Event Details
The City of Boston’s Office of Economic Development is in the midst of a process to reimagine the Boston Main Streets program. Boston Main Streets is the country’s oldest urban program of its kind. It seeks to create, build, and sustain healthy commercial districts across Boston’s neighborhoods.
We are currently working with the City to help their team better understand what the Main Streets program is doing well, what could be better, and how this program can help to close the City’s racial wealth gap — all while supporting our neighborhoods in maintaining and enhancing their unique character.
As members of the community, your input is an important part of this process. There are a couple of upcoming opportunities to be involved:
There is a virtual Community Listening Session for Fields Corner on Thursday, February 25th at 5:30pm. Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend! Click here to register.
Community members are invited to complete this survey that asks about our district and your experiences with Main Street programming: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RBMS2021
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the project team at ReimagineBostonMainStreet@boston.gov.
