Bringing together food, fun, and entertainment in the heart of Roxbury!

Savor the Square is a Saturday series on the Roxbury Branch Boston Public Library plaza that brings together existing brick and mortar businesses and entrepreneurial vendors into one marketplace in the business districts’ core. It complements existing businesses, by introducing new customers that are essential to their survival. Mature open-air markets (e.g. Roslindale) report an exponential increase in foot traffic in the business district and a subsequent increase in spending at local businesses. Savor the Square serves as the key component in the broader overall strategy to brand the Square as The Heart and Soul of Roxbury and as a destination for residents and visitors. It is actively marketed throughout the community and the City of Boston through digital and physical media.
